Dear Mr. Tuot:
In the absence of Mr. Germain Seligman who, on his return from Paris, spent only a few days in New York, I wish to acknowledge receipt of your letter of July 5th together with its enclosures: which reached him after his departure only.
I am communicating it to him with our next mail as we are only writing to him once a week unless the matter is extremely urgent. However, should you not hear from Mr. Seligman, do not be surprised as his itinerary is indeed a very extensive one requiring a great deal of traveling, but I can assure you that the subject will have his best attention on his return in September.

                                            Sincerely yours,

                                           (O. A. Liecthi)
