 I, Oscar A. Liechti, Manager of Jacques Seligmann & Co., Inc., a wholly American owned Company, hereby declare under oath that the painting of the Fontainebleau School "L'Age d'Or" is our outright property, bearing #7826 of our inventory. I further declare that said painting was exchanged in Paris during the summer of 1949 against a painting of the French 16th Century School "Portrait of a Man" #3852 of our inventory, which had been in France prior to 1939.

I Oscar A. Liechti, Manager of Gersel Corporation, a wholly American owned Company, hereby declare under oath that the below mentioned items are our outright property, that they were purchased in Paris prior to the outbreak of the war, further that the painting by Cima "Virgin & chi d" had been lotted by the Germans during the war and recovered by us two years ago only.
