Dear Mr. Seligman:

I wish to thank you for your letter of July 12, which as instructed I will turn over to you upon your return to New York.

ARTHUR SACHS: Proceeded as requested and mailed Mrs. Parker copies of the two letters.

COYSEVOX BUSTS: I am very sorry to read that after all the trouble you have had in this connection this request of the French officials now turns up. I wish that the roles could be reversed and that we could give them a dose of their own medicine for a change. As I had informed you on July 10, I already advised McKay Morant that there had been a delay in shipment, but I shall write to them anew telling them it will probably go forward only some time in September.

CHECK DRAWN: Yes you did advise me of this payment in the form of a type written P.S. to your letter written long-hand on June 29.

LEFEBVRE FOINET: I am glad to see from your letter that you reminded them again of their shipment of the HOUDON bust, as up to this writing I have no information at all on this topic.

INSURANCE HOUDON BUST: I just received a letter from McKay Morant (copy enclosed) enclosing the cover note for this risk. I must say that they really go all out in our behalf judging from the extraordinary low rate of 1% for this dispatch (I wish to repeat this rate covers all risks including breakage.)

* In this connection I appended copy of a letter which I wrote today to these people, which I trust you will find self-explanatory. I am surprised they did not forward this so important information to Mr. Gelb.

With best wishes
sincerly yours
