Dear Mr. Seligman:

I sent off the "Rassegna" to you last week and you most probably have received it by now or will shortly.

On Friday, July 7, a Dr. Frans Lust and his wife came in to exchange or credit (not against ceramics) a Ball bowl which they had received as a wedding gift a week before; referred this to Mrs. Parker. This man also expressed an "interest" in paintings of earlier centuries - from what I could gather, 14th and 15th century and Italian Primitives etc. I informed him that I did not know what we had at present, but that our paintings were at present at the warehouse, and asked him to come in again in September when you would be here. He did not impress me as being very serious in his interest in old paintings but one can never tell that he might not turn out to be a client. I have made a note for the fall.

With best regards and wishes to you and Mrs. Seligman and hoping that you are enjoying your vacation,

Sincerely,

Mr. Germain Seligman
