Mr. Dattelbaum phoned today and asked me to give you the following message: When the break in the market occured he was vacationing in Vermont, and trying to get a real rest - kept as much as possible away from the radio and newspapers. However, he says even had he been in New York he would not have done anything with respect to your investments, as it is his policy not to rush into action - to stand by and wait until the situation clarifies itself one way or another. Should conditions take a decided turn for the worse he will make certain switches. He wishes to be remembered to you and Mrs. Seligman.
