Dear Mr. Seligman:

Clock )
2 Candlesticks ) from Mantel
2 Statutettes in Gilt Bronze )
3 Light Candelabra
2 Regence Candlesticks made into lamps
3 Chinese Vases of which two are lamps
Bronze column

The mirror in your salon was left hanging on the wall as we believe this is the safest place for it.

I put the Pre-Colombian Eagle and the Pectoral in the office safe.

As instructed by Mrs. Seligman I requested Careful Carpet Cleaning Co. (they are the people that have satisfied us in the past) to pick up for cleaning purposes your bedroom rug which they will attend to this coming Tuesday.

FUNDS: I asked Mr. Robbins to make a transfer from his Special Reserve at J.P.M. to the Cashier Account in the sum of $685.00. This amount will be used for payments no provision had been made for, as per attached list.

MONTREAL: Returned the Carmontelle drawing in good condition.

WEITZNER: As requested by you I went to see him a few weeks ago for further data on the Courbet and the Lefevre, which he turned over to you in full settlement of our joint accounts. He was rather put out and told me that he sent you a letter while you were still in New York containing all this information. However, in spite of my looking everywhere I cannot locate this document. Nevertheless, he repeated the following:

Courbet: Durand Ruel; Lambert Sale; American Art Association 1917 (which I shall check). Reproduced in the book by Courthion (which he turned over to us)

Lefevre: Private Collection Philadelphia (claims he does not remember the name). Exhibited at Wildenstein "17th., Century French Pictures" (I shall check this). Weitzner says the attribution to Lefevre is confirmed by Charles Sterling in the Wildenstein exhibition catalogue.
