DR. FEILCHENFELDT: Acknowledged receipt in good condition of the SEURAT drawing, as per copy enclosed. 

ROLICK: Mr. Robbins having made the transfer of $400. (four hundred dollars) to the Cashier Account, I turned over to him our check to the order of MacFarlane, Harris & Goldman, in the sum of $400. for legal services rendered in the above reference. 

June 6, 1950  RADIO AND PHOTOGRAPHIC LIGHT METER: Mrs. Seligman asked me to purchase for her account a small portable radio and a Norwood photographic light meter, which she is taking with her to Europe. She is leaving on the Queen Mary, sailing from New York on Thursday June 8th., at 1:00 P.M., and is scheduled to arrive at Cherbourg, June 13. I have made all the arrangements to bring her baggage to the pier on Wednesday June 7th.

GRISELDA FRESCOES: Received a letter from Professor Sereni together with a copy of information which he received from his Milan correspondent, Professor Remo Franceschelli, Via Fregulia 10, Milan, copies of which I am enclosing.
All the data contained therein checks with information we already have at hand. However, should the information on Erneste Pelosi, the supposed buyer of these Frescoes be correct then the whole situation becomes "phonier" than ever. 

ROUAULT: As requested by them and pursuant to your telephone conversation with Mrs. Parker I instructed Brown to pack and ship this painting today to the Cleveland Museum of Art, c/o Mrs. H.S. Francis (prepaid).

Please tell Prof. Sereni that I can not get over the information of Pelosi- Tell him this over the telephone and please add that fully agree with his "suggestion" of calling on Pelosi- but that I do not expect to have any extra charges on account of this. as after all this is the first action taken in this whole matter- how should this information re. Pelosi- be correct he evidently did not buy the frescoes- and that some  "shady deal" must have been made- to which the officials who drafted the
