Dear Mr. Gardner:

You were quite right about my opening your letter of the 9th addressed to Mr. Seligman.

I am sending a copy of it as well as a copy of this reply to him in Paris.

However, before he left he told me of the various paintings and sculptures in which he hoped you would be interested, and left instructions that should you wish any sent to Kansas City this should be done.

We are therefore having the Pierino da Vinci relief packed and shipped to you. We expect that the case will leave New York tomorrow. As is Mr. Seligman's custom we will keep the relief insured.

To answer a point you raised, Mrs. Seligman is in New York. As a matter of fact she is attending to their moving into a new apartment, but I will let her tell you more about that herself.

Will you be kind enough to have someone notify us of the safe arrival of the relief.

Yours very sincerely,

(Mrs. T.D. Parker)
