Dear Mr. Seligman:

I am going to send you just one more copy of that fiche. As peoplewould say this is the third! and after this if the mail doesn't arrive it is not my fault. I wrote you a nice long explanatory letter with it last time, but I imagine they just opened the hatchway or what ever it is called in the plane and dropped it in the ocean.

Mrs. Parker - from Mr. Seligman.

According to our present schedule we will be in Paris until Sunday morning 18th when we are going to London, Claridges where we already have reservations, to remain there until Friday evening or Saturday morning following. I believe that with a few absences of two or three days at a time we shall remain in Paris until the end of the first week of June.

Mrs. Parker - Mrs. Porjes

Curt Valentin may want the Rodin bronze at his disposal. If he does want to have it at his galley it will be perfectly all right to give it to him, but transportation is to be made by him or at least at his expense.

Degas - Mr. Dix of Durlacher telephoned. He asked to have the "Bellelli" oil painting for an exhibition "Festival in Edinburgh". Miss Bazner is to call him on Monday and tell him that I am agreeable to lending the painting, but wish to have an official letter confirming such invitation which he said they would send. All expenses are being taken care of by them including insurance, value which I have set at $20,000.- In view of the old frame the separate insurance val. for that is to be $800.- I have given indications to Miss Bazner as to descriptive data etc., to be sent when they send the entry blank. Please obtain also a date at which they intend calling for the painting and date of return shipment.

The exhibition dates are from August 17, to Sept. 6.

In case you did not get the other letters, Curt Valentin has not asked for the Rodin, and we have not received the official letter from the Festival in Edinburgh. I made a few inquiries about it, saying I knew you would not want the painting tied up forever unless we received that letter pretty soon. Beyond that I know nothing, and Mr. Dix knows nothing either. I don't feel that you should be at all bound by it naturally as they seem to have been very sloppy about it all, not Durlacher, I mean Edinburgh. So much for that.

Following are several copies, which have arrived.

Letter from Hans Swarzenski: June 9th, Dean Germain: Excuse this hurried note. But I just found that your gold plaque with Christ and Peter and Paul is done after the plaque on the reliquary in Museo Christiano in Rome. You'll find a reproduction in E. Lavagnino, Storia dell'Artre on p. 193, fig. 213. All my best to both of you. as ever Hans. S.
