Dear Mr. Seligman:

Mr. Dattelbaum called me up and told me that he sold you the balance of the El Paso Natural Gas Co. (160 shares) for $3.886.11 which is approx. $ 250.- more than we received for the first 100 shares sold in January. He also informed me that he received your check for $6490. - giving me all information re. Check# etc. I asked him to keep the $3.886 for the time being until further notice and he said he might use it for further investments- of course he will be in touch with you. 

Received and deposited the folling checks:

Norfolk West. Rolway $75.--
Socony Vacuum Oil 204.-
Standard Oil 230.-- 
Homestake Mining 40.--
AGB for 200 Rts. sold 76.59 (taxable)

Dr. Deassauer mailed Bill for $12.-- I assume it is allright but I prefer receiving your o.k. before paying. -

Did the two paintings from Germany arrive in France? I did not her anything from C. Valentin in connection with same.-
