Gentlemen:

About three weeks ago I sent to you from Switzerland four meters of silk and also wrote to you simultaneously advising you of such shipment and of my return to Paris, Hotel Ritz, on August 20th when I would like to hear from you in this connection. I am therefore at a loss to understand your silence and am wondering whether both the parceland [[parcel and]] the letter went astray.

You would oblige me by posting me on this topic, my stay in Paris extending to September 4th, when I shall depart for New York. In my letter I asked you to acknowledge receipt of the material andalso [[and also]] to let me know the price for a jacket, single breasted, with cuffs on the sleeves made from this material.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
