Dear Porjes:

Just in case the statue of "Mercury" which was shipped by the French Line's S.S. Liberté, should have been passed by the customs before my return, please note that this statue has to be sent to Mr. Ternbach whom I will call on after my return. In view ot its size, you can't have this statue delivered to Mr. Ternbach without advising him ahead of time.

Mr. David Galton will have by now told you about the most unfortunate accident which occurred to our maid, Pat (Patricia Stevenson) who, we understand, is at the Roosevelt Hospital. The hospital I understand is anxious to know what insurance we carry in the name of Patricia Stevenson (not my insurance against possible recourse). I am also anxious for you to get in touch with Pat and give her some cash at once if she should be in need of any.

Mrs. Seligamn should probably be arriving in New York between the 31st and the 2nd and I should arrive on the 5th, Sunday morning, though at the present writing neither of us have plane seats.

I do hope Mrs. Porjes has completely recovered by now and looking forward to seeing you soon, with best greetings,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
