Dear Mr. Seligman:

I was very glad to hear that everything was alright with you and the "big" blue book, and thank you for your note of (oh, I have forgotten the date, and the letter is home)!

I had an inquiry from a friend of mine this morning who is looking for green velvet, so I said I thought I knew of some, and would ask etc. etc. Jack says they are at the warehouse, and in very bad condition, but I promised I would inquire, and this party would like to see them. The price in the catalogue says $600, but I suppose that too depends on the condition. If agreeable to you I could then get them and show them. I don't know how strong the interest really is, but from appearances it seems genuine, depending I imagine on the condition and price. There does not seem to be much market for such items so perhaps it would not hurt to try.

I said I thought I would probably know when they could be seen by next week.

I look forward to hearing from you about the above, and hope that you and Mrs. Seligman are enjoying your travels.

with best regards,

Sincerely,
Eleanor Razner
