Dear Mr. Seligman,

As you probably have heard from Mrs. Parker, we have had a few troubles with Mr. Uht, many of which are traceable to the fact that it is difficult for him to get to us and vice versa. Mrs. Parker suggested that I speak to Mr. Brenwasser who does Knoedler's work, and here are the results of our talk:

He charges $3.00 for photographing and one 8 x 10 print; each additional print $ .50. A color transparency is $15.00 ($12.50 if he does more than one). Also we can keep our negatives here. His prices are lower than Mr. Uht's, but more important, he goes to Knoedler's every day, so we would never have the problem of his not being in the vicinity. Mr. Brenwasser considers a "rush job" as one that must be returned the same day - a "regular job" comes back the following day.......!! Please let me know your opinion on this so that I can notify both parties if we decide to change.

Also, Mrs. Parker tells me she wrote you about photographing the Millet drawing - all is solved - the drawing was not listed in the old catalogue so in sorting the negatives I had put it with things not in stock. I found it and am having prints made.

I hope you and Mrs. Seligman are having a pleasant summer- we have been blessed with marvelously cool weather (so far!)

very sincerely,

Sally Bixby
