Junly, 2,1954

Dear Mr. Seligman:

I am in receipt of your letter dated June 28, 1954 and in accordance Miss Bixby mailed at-one to Mons. Lebel the requested photo of the painting attrib. to Artemesia Gentilago by Air-mail.

I am enclosing herein copy of the accounting received today from Maitre Rheims. As usual there are a lot of expenses. I also received a check from the Franco American Bank for

$3,999.77 (F.Frs. 1,403.427 à 28-1/2)

which I deposited with J.P. Morgan. This amount represents all sales made so far and the "bon de vente" sent you June 30 for signature for the balance of the tapestries. Unfortunately he did not include the promised Frs. 10.000.- deducted from the "Mater Dolorosa". I intend to acknowledge receipt of the check but would like to get your advice whether I should mention it and furthermore I want to give you a chance to check the current deductions.-

Mrs. Parker left yesterday for Hawley and arrived safely - we talked to her over the phone. She assigned to the ladies work to be done before our closing.

I took note from Mr. Cunningham's letter that the two Mss. are being returned to their owner and will cancel the insurance as soon as notified by Chenue.

I am enclosing some mail from the apt.

With best greetings to you and Mrs. Seligman,

Yours very sincerely
