Dear Mr. Seligman:
We [[underline]]finally[[underline]] received the three photographs of the Taunay which I sent off to Mrs. Green. Also the Gros photograph came, which I had photostated and sent to Mr. Lebel.
Not ten minutes after we talked with you yesterday afternoon, the cable came from Lefevre-Foinet; and we wired you as follows:
CABLE RECEIVED QUOTE TABLEAU GROS SCULPTURES BRONZE ET CIRE VISA MUSEES EXPEDITION AVION SAMEDI LEFOINET
In case you are not receiving the [[underline]]Times,[[underline]] I thought you might wish to know of the enclosed death notice; I assume he is Mrs. Watson B. Dickerman's son.
Miss Barton mailed the folder on Monday afternoon; by this time you undoubtedly have it in hand.
The temperature must have dropped ten degrees since noon, and it is ever so much pleasanter than almost any time since you left.
Best wishes to you both from everyone -
Sincerely,
[[signature]] Sally Winter[[signature]]
