July 25, 1955
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Seligman:
I received your letter of July 22nd this morning and Queenie and I went up to the apartment. Enclosed is the folder (I think this is the one ou meant) as well as the handkerchiefs. Incidentally the men were cleaning your stove while we were up there.
We are still awaiting the arrival of the file so we can put away the negatives, but in the meantime queenie is giving the place a good housecleaning, books included, and Mr. Porges office will never be the same! If you have been able to go over the collections list we sent we could begin doing something with that, but perhaps you will want to see them first. There certainly were alot of them!
It has cooled off somewhat over this weekend, so it is a little better in the gallery today with a nice breeze blowing through. We are all envious of the weather out there, as it must be ideal.
Hope you have a nice time.
Sincerely,
Martha Barton
