Dear Mr. Seligman:

Enclosed is the list of exhibitions you asked for, the first one being in 1925. As you will see, a number of them in the 20's and early 30's were contemporary French artists held by de Hauke; I wasn't sure whether you wished me to include these but put them in anyway, as it is a simple matter for you to cross them out.

Four photographs came from the Caisse Nationale des Monuments Historiques in Paris--two of Gros paintings (Battle of the Pyramids and Meeting of the Emperors after Austerlitz) and two of LeFevre portraits of Napoleon. We shall hold them for your return in the fall.

Mr. Geske wanted the "De David à Toulouse-Lautrec" catalogue, so I sent it to him today.

Vacation plans are finally settled, my mother and I having taken a house in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard, for the first three weeks in August--and if we like it and can arrange to do so, perhaps we shall stay longer. Our house used to be the candlemaker's shop one hundred years ago, and it looks altogether very charming. Can hardly wait to get a good dose of sea, sunshine, and fresh air!

Sincerely,
Sally Winter
