Dear Germain,

Following your cable I have written Mr. Solomon and made out the invoice as per the enclosed copies. 

Yesterday a collector - dealer Mr. Gutman came in at the suggestion of Mr. Mastai to see the necklace. Said he would be in touch with me again shortly. Also said that Mr. Linsky is the most active of all collectors today. Mr. Gutman's own Renaissance jewel collection is on exhibition at the Art Inst. of Chicago. 

Dr. Berger just phoned. Is sailing on Saturday and will look you up at the Ritz. 


Dear Mr. Seligman:

I am enclosing herein copies of my letters in connection with the shipment of the Vuillard Painting. Same will be shipped as per your instructions on June 3, 1955.

I am returning to Mr. Dattelbaum your last purchase of 200 sh. Transamerica Corp. which were mailed to us by mistake. He is insuring them for my shipping back.on his floater. He apologized. 
Mr. Gelb has news as regards the 2 Gros panels from Lefebvre, but no arrival advice yet. I posted Brown already - no special hurry necessary and about the storing in their cases. 
I did not hear from Lefebvre as regards the document cases. 
J. Veron Grauer, Geneva, sent expense bill amounting to Frs. 101.25 for the Degas. I ordered check in this amount.
