Sept. 28, 1955

Dear Mr. Seligman:

I received your letter of Sept. 26,55 and at-once contacted Mr. Ternbach. He told me over the phone that it is impossible to have the work done at the gallery. We have not the facilities etc. etc. and furthermore he can't travel back and forth. I told him you would have much preferred to have it done at the gallery on account of the fragility of the statue which easily can be damaged again during the transportation. He suggested I send same in the protected case and the way back he himself will deliver [[strikethrough]] same [[/strikethrough]] the statue. So I agreed to have same sent over through Brown's probably tomorrow.

Lef. Foinet mailed to Bemo the documents pertaining to the 2 frames. The ptg. by Lefebvre is on its way to Brown's according to Mr. Gelb with whom I talked a few minutes ago. I will post you.

Mrs. Seligman told me that the frigidaire left New York only Sept. 16 and I hope in the meantime reached Paris.

All the paintg. including the big 2 panels were delivered yesterday from the Studio Steen. The 2 panels had to go of course on top of the elevator. I have to tip Toni. It was quite a job! By the way the Moreau was not finished and Mrs. Parker wrote you about it.

With best regards,
sincerely yours.

The Ptg. by Leal is just being delivered.
