Dear Mr. Seligman:

The first shipment was brought to the Manh. Warehouse as scheduled. From your letter of May 21 I note that the Baron Gros-panels will be shipped (if at all) rolled up, which of course would make it a lot easier. In that case should they still be examined at Brown's and stored there?

The painting by Vuillard will be shipped as per your instructions on about June 3rd to Arthur Lenars, Paris. I will inform Mons. Rene Hass accordingly. I assume that Quatre Chemins Editart is being posted, but should I write to them? Please advise.

Dr. Drack answered today and gave the exact name and address of the forwarder. I therefore will proceed with the shipment as discussed.I will mail you copies of my letters pertaining to the above.matters.

Mlle. de Levaque sent you regards; She has enough funds for June & July as we expected. Therefore I will send her again Frs. 50.000.- approximately July 15 which will cover the rest of the year.

J.P. Morgan gave me wrong information as regards the transfer of $ 300.- to London. After we mailed the second letter marked "copy" I received two transfer notes. Apparently the first letter had arrived. I had of course one transfer cancelled.

Did you receive the checkbook of Credit Suisse, Zurich?

You wanted to check with Lefebvre-Foinet whether the "admission temporaire" for the Triptyah and Schall ptg. has been prolonged? Also I should remind you of the paintg. by Baron Grose from de Brisis. with Lefebvre-Foinet.

So far as no word from Maggs Bros. as well as Mr. Rottier.

With best regards,

Yours very sincerely,
