Mr. Seligman July 24-25th cont'd

Mr. DORRA He also asked for the address of Mrs. Conroy - Miss Kaplan recalled that you had told us not to give the address to Mr. Rich, so we told Mr. Dorra that unfortunately we did not have it (and I don't think we do, in any case.)

Mr. Dorra asked whether the Delacroix "Apolle ceiling" sketch was still available, and said he would write to you about it.

LA FRESNAYE I just received your wire about sending the LaFreanaye file to California. That's a fine way to spend a vocational However I can imagine you are looking forward to getting some concentrated, uninterrupted work done on it- So I will it off along with the monograph right away -- and since this is going to be a monumental package anyway, I will include the major exhibition catalogues.

photocopy of BOSTON MUS. Letter enclosed from the Office of the Director, Boston Mus. You may recall that it was decided not to answer the letter of June 28 referred to, as it was extremely ourt ad did not give the name of the collection. However, the letter is from Mr. Rathbone's office, so my reply is enclosed.

STAT MACHINE - The copy of the Boston letter was made this morning as a demonstration Mrs. Parker had sent for literature on this "Auto-stat" machine, and we had a demonstration today which was very impressive-- seems to be very simple to operate and produces a good looking stat (though I don't know about copying pamphlets much as I would like to) It costs $397, plus $97.50 for an accessory to make state from books which works very well, and then 7-1/2 cents per stat for paper. Of course we are saving the particulars for you in September.

It has been very lively around here these past two weeks, with the painters and men laying rugs and installing linoleum etc. It's a great relief to have it peaceful again, and we look very fresh and clean.

Miss K. and Mr. Porjes will be writing you tomorrow with the last word.. My final word is please try to take some vacation and leave something for me to do on LaFresnayel My greetings to Mrs. Seligman....

Sincerely,

Betty Morrison
