MAGGS Yesterday we received the following from Maggs

"Dear Miss Parker,
Thank you for your letter. I am waiting the official order from the Bibliotheque Royale for the Arenberg MS. 82, but there is no doubt that they are buying the manuscript.

It has just occured [[occurred]] to me that I have not yet had an invoice and shall of course need this when we come to make our application to pay you.

Please would you let me have at your convenience, the invoice in two copies? Perhaps you would not mind giving the date as that on which the MS was sent to us?

Yours sincerely,
p.p. Maggs Bros. Ltd.
(signed) H. Clifford Maggs) "

Accordingly Mr. Porjes is today sending them a copy of the same bill but dated March 4th. This with a note of which copy is herewith.

[[bottom margin]] We have our own heat wave here - hope conditions have improved in N.Y. - with "Audrey" kicking around in such tragic fashion & manner -

Shall probably spend one day - Tuesday - in Zurich & one day - Wednesday - in London - before taking off on Friday- I can hardly stand on my feet from overtiredness.

Kindest thoughts
