Dear Mr. Seligman:

As Mrs. Parker reported to you the Lautrec has been delivered and will be brought to the Warehouse before she leaves for the country with the other items.

Gen Lindemann's check for $30,000.- has been deposited with J.P. Morgan. It was a banker's check issued by The Bankers Trust Co.

The little Watteau dwg. "Head & Hands" has just been picked up by Swiss Air (see attached letter to Mons. Zuberer, copy of invoice and copy of letter to McKay as regards the insurance thereon), as per your instructions.

I received from McKay copy of the new worded endorsement, original of which was sent to you. I think it is much clearer and easier to understand.

For Mrs. Seligman I am enclosing Telephone Bill, I though she might want to pay.

Mr. Robbins will write to you in connection with Rottier's letter re. release.

The following Dividend checks received and deposited:

Allis Chalmers $ 51.- Diamond Portland Cement $50.-
Gen. Foods 100.-- Socony Mobiloil 212.-
Gellette 200.- Southern Co. 137.50
Marquette Cement 175. St and. Oil of NJ 330.-
Hammond Organ 70.- Minnesota Mining 90.-

Mr. Datte1baum with whom I just spoke asked me to tell you that the market is very strong (except that one day when Pres. Eisenhower was reported ill - the market went down unbelievable on that day.

Please excuse me- I have to close now, as I have today Mr. Levitt and the agent from the Treas. Dept. here. On Monday the man from the City Collector (Sales & Gross Receipt Tax) if coming back. I will of course report to you. As you see I have no dull moment here.

With best regards to you and Mrs. Seligman,
Very sincerely
GS
