Dear Sir:

You will remember having answered our recent letter to Mr. Martin Davies regarding the shipment of the painting by Philippe de CHAMPAIGNE "Vision of St. Joseph" made at the request of our Mr. Germain Seligman. This is to advise you that we have shipped it on one case JS-1 per "S.S Queen Mary" as per the enclosed copy of the Bill of Lading and copy of Consignment Invoice which was compiled for custom purposes only, originals of which were airmailed to our London Brokers, Messrs. For your convenience we are also enclosing herein copy of our today's letter addressed to Messrs. J. Chenue in connection with the above.

Please note that this painting is fully insured by us while in transit and while in your custody. We would greatly appreciate receiving your acknowledgement of the safe arrival of this painting, to enable us to post our insurers accordingly.
