Dear Mr. Seligman:

The list of Italian sculptures turned out to be a rather complicated project, but at last it is ready for you/ It is based on the invoice book, negative books, negative and photographs files -- where the name of the purchaser is blank, Mr. Porjes was unable to trace the number...and a blank in the negative column means there is no negative existing. I have enclosed two copies in case you should wish to keep one and return the other with the negatives marked for which you want prints made for Dr. Middledorf, and/or our files, etc. Incidentally, where a positive is marked but in negative, it is in most cases our last photograph of the sculpture.

I'm delighted to hear about the Lautrec and Ingres, and anxious to get to work on them. Up to now I've been involved in various unglamourous, filing-type tasks - the Holbein lists is underway, also some minor projects. But I shall be happy to get on with the Lautrec and hope I will have something interesting to report to you soon.

Best wishes to your and Mrs. Seligman,

      Sincerely,

      Betty Morrison
