November 25, 1964

Dear Mr. Seligman:

In confirmation of our conversation today, I herewith agree to sell you the alabaster group of "The Coronation of the Virgin" for the dollar equivalent of 770.000 Belgian Francs (SEVEN HUNDERED SEVENTY THOUSAND BELGIAN FRANCS) payable to me.

I agree to deliver this sculpture to your Customs Agent: Bemo Shipping Company, 11 Broadway, New York, N.Y. by December 20, 1964. Should the sculpture not have been delivered by this date, we will be mutually free from our agreement.

In your letter of November 13, you described what you meant by the sculpture being intact, that is the condition in which this item should be delivered in New York; a definition with which I agree, as I am taking out the necessary breakage insurance to that effect.

Yours very sincerely,

(signed) T.P. Grange
