January 27, 1965

Dear Mr. Reiter:

Do have my thanks for your so very pleasant letter of January 25.

It would seem that I was under a misapprehension for I though that, after taking the matter over with Mr. Milkorich, you were to let me know which painting - either the large Luca GIORDANO or the SOLIMENA Bozzetto - you wish to receive.

As soon as I will have your answer, I shall proceed with the shipment and mail whatever data we have related to the chosen painting.

I am in full agreement with the different terms covered by your letter such as insurance, packing and freight charges.

Also that the painting will remain my Firm's property until paid in full, should it be sold, or/and returned at once to my Firm upon request.

If my recollection is correct, you wish to have this painting for the opening of an exhibition and I would be obliged to you for posting me about it dates.

It was a pleasure indeed to have this opportunity of making your acquaintance and wishing you success,

Yours very sincerely,

Germain Seligman
