Gentlemen:

Re: "Mars & Venus", drawing by Spranger

Answering your letter of January 8th, 1965 we again are returning Customs Form CF 3325 which we refuse to sign as it would be an incorrect statement.
[[overlapping]], as advised by our attorney.[[/overlapping]]

We are not importing the above drawing "for exhibition by said institution at...and not for any other purpose nor for sale", as per your form; just the opposite: This item, which, when purchased, was originally entered into the USA as an antique for sale, is being returned now from an exhibition in Canada, its status must not be changed.

We have had many similar cases and never encountered any problems. Evidently you entered this item under an incorrect section and we are asking you to change it accordingly.

Kindly mail us the proper form which we gladly will sign and return.

Thanking you,

Yours very sincerely
