Dear Mr. Grigaut:

It was pleasant indeed to have received your long distance telephone call Wednesday and to learn of your Museum´s decision to acquire the drawing by:

La FAGE - "Battle Scene" (probably for the series of the history of Toulouse) The price of which, you will recall is:
$ 500 (FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS)

Let me add that I appreciate the authorization to keep the drawing in our current exhibition. As soon as it will be over, on December 10th, we will ship it to Ann Arbor, to your attention and bill you then.

Meanwhile, it occurred to me that you would like to have the research we undertook relating to this drawing which is quite exhaustive, as you will realize.

Our exhibition has been already very well attended and you will be happy to know that your drawing is being very much admired.

I would be delighted if you and Mr. Sawyer could see the display of these works of art on our walls.

Kindly remember me to Mr. Sawyer and with personal regards,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
