June 22, 1966.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Seligman:

I am in receipt of your two letters of June 20th with enclosed key and receipted bill of U.S. Lines.

I informed Mr Gelb of the expected arrival of the velvet and silk materials. He has not received anything so far. Further as regards the trunk he said we could not get it out before your arrival in the States. You have to sign a customs declaration which he will send to me. With other words it could only be cleared on July 1st.-

Mr. Robbins called me up this morning to tell me that Mr. Lewis, the Landlord, called him and that he talked for about 20 min. After long discussions the Landlord is willing to go down with the rent 50$ a month. We will pay instead of $ 650.- $ 750.- (He wanted $ 800.- as you remember). Mr. Robbins thinks lower we will not get it and wants your o.k. Please advise at-once.

I tried to reach Mr. Olson but to no avail. I will ask him to prepare a policy as you suggested. Mr. Robbins this he can do it. I will advise you as soon as I know more about it.

With best regards,

Very sincerely

OP

PS. Mrs. Wittmeyer called me to tell you that Carey Limousines are still on strike. For your information the taxis are running (they were also on strike when Mrs. Seligman left). Should you want Liptons limousine please let me know the Flight number etc.
