[[top margin]] I hope Mr. Robbins will be able to reach a satisfactory agreement with landlord- [[/top margin]]

pg. 2

June 17, 1966

Neither Mr. Robbins nor I did hear anything from the Landlord. Mr. Robbins telephoned his lawyer informing him that he is not accepting the lease. He wanted to call back Mr. Robbins after consulting Mr. Lewis. The only thing, the painter was sent up by Tony to fix a date for the painting job. I told the painter I do not know whether the Landlord or we will pay, that depends on the agreement we will have with the Landlord. Anyway the date is July 15th and the price would be $ 550.- for the place except. my office, Johnson's workshop and the reserve room, which do not need to be painted should we have to pay for it.- I asked Tony and he told me that we are the only ones paying the low[[strikethrough]]e[[/strikethrough]] rent- everybody was raised in the last years.-

From the Calif. Savings Bankscame the notification that starting July 1st the interest rate is 5% instead of 4.85%

From Blue Cross came a new policy for you, starting July 1st. Also Mrs. Seligman has a new policy which is actually the old one but separated from yours. [] upon my return please explain differences []

The Chasseriau Drawing was delivered today in good order.

I don't know whether you remember that we have still with Christie's an unimportant drawing by "Gandolfi" sent to them a couple years ago together with quite a number of items for auction which was not sold at that time. Our bookvalue is $1.00 and we never asked for the return of it. It comes up again in an auction of June 28th Lot 186 !!! [] will it sell this time? []

Mr. Dattelbaum wrote the following:

"Mr. Germain Seligman etc.
Attention: Mr. Porjes

Under separate cover we are confirming to you
$10,000. City of White Plains, New York
3.70% bonds due 8/1/1970 on a 3.50 basis

I took the liberty of purchasing this issue inasmuch as the New York State Power Authority bonds are not currently available in the market. Furthermore, the White Plains bonds are rated AA whereas the Power Authority bonds are rated A. I am pleased to have been able to make this switch.
[] fine - []
I hope you are having a good trip and with best regards,
Cordially yours
Dave"

Mr. Dattelbaum bought the above to replace the bond which was due June 1966.
