Talladega 
James F McGogy Sub Asst Comm Sub Dist of Talladega, comprising nine counties none of which have numerous colored population, except Talladega, reports 6 schools, (one of which is Normal School.) Ten (10) destitute neighborhoods of Sixty pupils each, Eight visits to schools, No educational meetings, Ten (10) additional schoolhouses needed. 
No open opposition to colored schools. Will need assistance until county becomes prosperous. 

Tuskaloosa 
Robert Blair, Sub Asst Comr. Sub. Dist of Tuskaloosa, comprising Eight (8) Counties, with few colored people, reports 3 Day & 3 Night schools. No school houses, 2 destitute 
neighborhoods of 40 pupils each, Colored people very poor. Public sentiment so bitter that its unsafe to travel through his Sub District and hold educational meetings
