To Bureau R.F. & A.L., for the month of January, 1867, Mobile District, State of Alabama.

9. Remarks.  Schools outside of the A.M.A. have not given any former reports, and the present one is obtained by the visitation of the Supt. to the respective schools, from which there has been gathered the items as herein set forth. As the Colored teachers keep no regular register of attendance, or class register a desirable report could  not well be given
