Several Schools have been establish in different neighborhoods and are being entirely supported by the Parents & Pupils of same

3 at Haynesville. Burton and Lowndesboro in Lowndes Co Ala.
 
14. Could you organize your Sub-Dist, into School Districts, each with a school Committee pledged to carry on Schools therein?

16. What is the public sentiment as to the education of the Freedmen and Poor Whites? 
That they be educated.
 
17. Are night Schools for Adults needed in your District? Yes In which way could they be Carried on?
To supply a Teacher at Montgomery Ala.

18. What more can this Bureau do for educating the children of Refugees (or Poor White). 
Supply of Teachers
 
19. How long will Northern Charitable aid be needed for Freedmen and Refugee Schools of your District?  
Until the State becomes financially able to provide for and establish Schools
