General:
I am directed to enclose herewith the discharge of John R. Adams, late of Co. "D" 36th U.S.C. Troops, whose claim for additional bounty is allowed, and the amount ($100.00) in the hands of the C.D.O. of this Bureau for remittance to claimant.

The claim was forwarded by S.C. Armstrong S.A.C. Bu &c, at Fort Monroe, Va.  Please acknowledge receipt of discharge at your earliest convenience, giving number of this letter.
