Two years ago I filed my Discharge with Messrs Daniel & Sharwood Claim Agents & Attorneys in Washington D.C. to collect what bounty was due me.  I have written to them & others & have been unable to receive a reply to my letters & I now appeal to you to see justice done an old soldier.  Please address me care of E.M. Garnett Richmond Virginia & let me know if there is any bounty due me, or if it has been paid to the Attorneys.
