Sir:
I have the honor to enclose herewith the discharges of the following named colored soldiers as requested in your communication of the 10th instant.

Bailey Phillips, 1st Sergt. Co: "B" 36th U.S.C.T.
Thomas Braxton, Private Co: "F" 36th U.S.C.T.

Your letter requesting that payment of the claims of the above named men be made through you, has been referred to the C.D.O. of this Bureau.

Please acknowledge receipt of discharges, giving number of this letter.
