Comr Richmond, Va General On the 19th of May last I enclosed to you for collection, Second Auditors Certificate no 435.272 in favor of George Clifford late Co. H. 54th Mass. Vols, for one hundred dollars_ On the 23d May a letter from Claim Division Bureau Head Quarters was received, stating that the auditors letter transmitting certificate, the bill of the Attorney, and Post office address of claimant, were required. On the 25th inst. these were furnished, since which time nothing has been heard at this office from same. The Attorney states that he has received some weeks ago, his bill. The claimant Geo.
