Calls attention to communication of June 23d 1868, ordering 4 G.O. files, is instructed to review the application and enquire the reason of the delay in furnishing the same. -

Respectfully returned to the Assistant Commissioner. On the receipt of the communication of June 23d, an order was issued from this office on G.L. Bidgood, Wholesale Stationery Merchand of this city, for four General Order files, but the stock of the manufacturers being exhausted, it was impossible to obtain them at the time, since then, two (2) G.O. files have been received and furnished Bvt Colonel G. Mallery, the other two are daily expected and as soon as received will be turned over to the Assist. Commissioner.
