Lieut:
   James Thompson (cold) late private Co "K" 43rd Regt. U.S.C. Troops has applied to this Office for bounty due him. By reference to his discharge I find it marked paid 2d installment bounty by check No. 341185, dated October 28th 1867- amount $66.67.  He states this amount has never been received by him and I have the honor to request that this communication be forwarded to the Chief Disbursing Officer, Bureau R.F. and A.L. for his action.
