11. Remarks Two in Alphabet have been sick and absent from School. I have 16 reading in a First Reader, 14 of these have learned their letters since the 1st of April. I have the 16 refered to making figures and letters on their slates. The Sabbath School has 6 Colored Assistant teachers, Making a total of 120, Day School opens at 7.45 A. M. and closes at 12 M. Opens again at 1.30 and closes at 5.15 P.M. Give a recess A.M. and P.M. of 15 minutes, Time of teaching 7 1/2 hours per, day.
