Freedmen's School House
Warrenton Va April 15, 1869

Dear Sir: 
A few of the colored people - members of the colored Baptist Church, worshiping in the Freedmen's School House, and some of their trustees and deacons are anxious to build a church and have laid claim to the lot in which the School House stands - a lot which was purchased by the freedmen and offered to the Bureau for the erection of a School 
House.  These above mentioned people are forming a plan
for the purpose of turning the rear part of the School House around and thus have the entrance to the School by a narrow alley; and appropriating
