Office "Richmond Educational Association"
Richmond Va. March 10. 1869

The within communication is respectfully returned with the information required. The above named association is an Incorporated Company with a board of five Directors, by whom its operations are conducted, and in whom is the title to the school property. The school building and furniture, together with the lot have cost $11,000. A property like this would rent, in this city for One Thousand Dollars ($1000.) per annum. Additional furniture which will cost Four Hundred Dollars ($400) is necessary for the future operations of the school.

It is therefore respectfully asked that One Thousand Dollars ($1000) be paid as rent on the property from July 1, 1868 to June 30 1869 and that an appropriation of Four Hundred Dollars ($400) be made to the company for the purchase of additional furniture.

Respectfully
R. M. Manly
Sec. Rich'd. Ed. Assn.
