I have the honor to invite your attention to a communication of Bvt.
Maj. Geo. Q. White, Capt. 44th U.S.I. V.R.C, containing statement of clothing belonging to this Bureau, no longer required for issue forwarded to you Head Quarters by endorsement of Decr 24 1868 from this office with the recommendation that the clothing be turned over to a board of officers, named for distribution under my directions.

I would state that until some disposition is made of the above named clothing, the services of the storekeeper, now in charge, will necessarily be required.
