General

I am directed by Brevet Major-General O.O. Howard, U.S.A., Commissioner, &c., to enclose herewith, for delivery to him, the discharge of Landrum Henderson late a Corporal Co. "E", 37th Regt U.S.C Troops together with letter from the Second Auditor of the Treasury, reporting adversely on his claim for Bounty &c.

The last known Post-office address of the claimant is Richmond, Va.

Please date and sign the accompanying form of receipt for discharge certificate, &c., and return same to this Office.
