Requests the Asst. Comr to take proper measures to close up the operations of his Departments completely on the 30th proximo. The schools will continue as by law but, the Supt. will report directly to the Commr. for specific instructions. All officers of the Army will be relieved from duty on or before that date and all other employees discharged. The payment of bounties will be regulated by the Chief Dis: Officer at Washington.
