Sir:
In some of the schoolhouses to be transferred to Trustees etc., there is school furniture,(desks, chairs, black-boards etc.) which is borne on the returns of Officers and Agents of this Bureau as government property; There are also small amounts of such property, scattered through the country, much of it well worn and probably not now worth the cost of selling. As this property has been furnished under the head of "Construction" and "Repairs", I respectfully request that the Commissioner
