By direction of Major General Ord my arrangement to sell Mr Stabler the bones of slaughtered animals at Jones Landing and this vicinity is revoked. The War Dept have directed that all Bones and other debris of slaughtered animals will be taken charge of by General Ord. for the benefit of the
Negro department.

Please inform Mr Stabler.
