Colonel:
I have the honor to furnish herewith copy of telegram from the War Dept, directing the muster out to Colored organizations enlisted in Northern States.

As the 24th U. S. Col'd Troops comes under that description it will be mustered out immediately.

The Major General Commanding requests that you will cause all officers of the regiment on duty with the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands to report for duty with their regiment without delay.
